About the event
HANDS OFF SELF DEFENSE is a FREE event geared torwards the LGBTQIA+ Community.
Wear comfortable clothing to include indoor shoes or go barefoot. Must bring a sturdy jacket such as a flanel or a martial arts Gi (Top). Self defense will cover topics such as: Avoiding a physical confrontation. Body positioning in a fight. Hand control when being attacked. How to put an opponent on the ground quickly. Ground control in a scramble. Basic submission techniques.
Romeo Uncaged has over 30 years experience in fighting sports. He is a 2x Olympic Judo Team Member and coach, former World Champion in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and retired Professional MMA Fighter. He has trained and holds titles in almost every fighting sport across the world.
