About the event

Friends-giving is a heartwarming event that aims to bring together members of the LGBTQIA2+ community in a spirit of love, acceptance, and community. It provides a safe and inclusive space for individuals to gather, share a delicious meal, and create lasting memories.

During this special occasion, participants can expect a delightful menu that includes classic Thanksgiving dishes. The centerpiece of the meal is a deliciously roasted turkey, cooked to perfection. Accompanying the turkey, there will be rich and flavorful gravy, savory stuffing, and a variety of delectable vegetables to ensure a well-rounded meal.

To sweeten the celebration, a selection of pies will be available for dessert. While store-bought desserts are welcome to enhance the giving, it is kindly requested that outside homemade items are not brought to the event. This precaution is taken to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

The event is not just about the food, but also about the sense of togetherness and belonging that it fosters. It provides an opportunity for individuals within the LGBTQIA2+ community to connect, support each other, and celebrate their unique identities and experiences. It's a time to share laughter, stories, and gratitude with friends who understand and appreciate the journey.
